In our hiring and selection procedures, we are searching for this degree of dedication. Teaching at OIS offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in India’s leading IB school. OIS is authorized to offer the IB PYP, IB MYP and IB Diploma, and is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The faculty is well qualified, with a broad range of experience, from the newly qualified to those with decades of teaching experience. Many are IB workshop leaders, IB examiners or trainers. OIS faculty are regularly called upon to participate in accreditation and authorization visits.

Professional development is readily available, particularly IB training (OIS is the site of the official IB workshops in India every November). In-house training is a regular feature. The annual Teachers Teaching Teachers event exemplifies the spirit of cooperation and collaboration that characterizes the OIS faculty. Facilities are world class, resources are plentiful. The workplace is modern, air conditioned and is situated in a pleasant natural environment. New teachers are invariably surprised when they find the school looks over natural forests.
