MYP candidate school: Since September 2015

Oberoi International School (OIS) is a candidate school* for the Middle Years Programme. OIS is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy— a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Oberoi International School believes is important for its students.

(*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the Career-related Programme (CP). OIS began implementing the MYP during the 2015-16 academic year in Grade 6. We will add one grade level each subsequent academic year until it is fully implemented through Grade 10 according to the below timeline.

NOTE: The IGCSE programme will not be offered in parallel to the MYP (i.e. The class of 2022 and subsequent classes thereafter will not be be doing IGCSE in Grades 9 and 10).

Language Policy


During the Academic Year 2015-16 students will have a number of chances to build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environments and enjoy time away from the classroom. Below is the list of trips planned for the secondary students:
